Effective 26 July 2026
OGIR is a business messaging and automation platform, offered through OGIR Chat (WhatsApp) and OGIR DM (Instagram). OGIR is a product of Rigo International, a partnership firm registered in India.
We collect account and business details you provide (name, business name, email, phone), billing information, and content you create such as message templates and campaigns. When you connect a WhatsApp Business or Instagram account, we process the messages, contacts, and metadata that flow through those channels so we can deliver the service. We also collect usage and device data, and we use cookies to keep you signed in.
We use your information to provide and operate the platform, to route and store messages between you and your customers, to process payments, to provide support, to keep the service secure, and to meet legal obligations.
OGIR is built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform and the Instagram Graph API. Our access to and use of information obtained through these platforms follows Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We use it only to provide the messaging services you configure, and we never sell it.
Data we receive from Meta. When a business connects an Instagram professional account or a WhatsApp Business number, OGIR receives from Meta only what is needed to run that business’s inbox and automations: the connected account’s id and username, the messages and comments sent to that account, delivery status, and — where the business turns it on — the account’s own insights (reach, views, interactions). We use this data solely to provide the service to that business. We do not use Meta platform data for advertising, we do not build profiles of the people who message a business, and we do not share it with anyone other than the business that owns the account and the infrastructure providers named in this policy. We do not store Instagram media files, and when Instagram tells us a message was deleted by its sender we remove it from the business’s inbox as well. Access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and are deleted the moment the business disconnects a channel or requests deletion.
If you connect a Google account to OGIR, we ask Google for permission to read and write Google Sheets spreadsheets and to create files in your Google Drive. We use this access only to import contacts from the spreadsheets you choose, and to write leads, lead-stage changes and messages into a spreadsheet you own. We do not read any other file in your Drive.
Your Google access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers, are never shown to anyone, and are deleted when you disconnect Google under Settings → Integrations or delete your workspace. Data read from your spreadsheets is stored only as contacts in your own OGIR workspace, under the same retention and deletion rules as the rest of this policy.
OGIR’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission, for security or abuse investigations, or where the law requires it.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with infrastructure and service providers who host and operate the platform, with Meta as the operator of the messaging platforms, with payment processors for billing, and where required by applicable law.
Optional AI connector. A workspace owner may connect a third-party AI assistant of their choice (for example Claude by Anthropic) to their own workspace. When enabled by the owner, that AI provider processes workspace conversations only when the owner asks it to act, and the owner can revoke the connection at any time from Settings → AI connector in the OGIR dashboard.
We keep information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. To request access to or deletion of your data, email contact@ogir.ai with the subject “Data Deletion Request”, and we will process it within a reasonable period in line with applicable law.
In practice that means: your account and its conversation history for as long as your account is active; access tokens deleted immediately when you disconnect a channel; and everything else removed within 30 days of a deletion request, and from routine backups within a further 30 days. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. Full instructions, including for people who messaged a business that uses OGIR, are on our data deletion page.
If you messaged a business through Instagram or WhatsApp, you can also ask that business to delete your conversation from OGIR; the business can do this from its inbox at any time, and you can write to contact@ogir.ai if you cannot reach the business.
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and restricted server-side access to stored data, to protect your information.
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by contacting us. We handle personal data in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.
There are two groups of people in this policy, and our responsibilities to each are different. For a business that uses OGIR, we are the controller of the account information described above — we decide what we collect and why. For the people who message that business, the business is the controller and we act as its processor: we hold the conversation on its instructions in order to provide the service. We do not decide what is done with it, we do not use it for our own purposes, and we do not sell it. In practice, if you messaged a business and want your information removed, ask that business first — they can do it themselves, and they are the ones responsible for answering you. Our data deletion page explains what to do if you cannot reach them.
We use a small number of providers, each bound to use your information only to provide their service to us: Supabase for database hosting and authentication, hosted in Mumbai, India; Hostinger for application and website hosting; Meta Platforms, necessarily, since that is where WhatsApp and Instagram messages travel; and Razorpay, which processes payments (we never see or store full card numbers). We will update this list when it changes.
OGIR is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under the age of 18.
We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the effective date above. Questions can be sent to contact@ogir.ai, or by post to Rigo International (OGIR), A-19, Ground Floor, Suite 1379, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-2, New Delhi 110020, India.
Tell us about your business and our team will reach out shortly.
